The seminar features:

About the speakers:
- Mr Peter Prabhu
Mr. Prabhu holds a B.Com in accounting and finance from McGill University (Great Distinction), where he was a James McGill Scholar and was awarded the graduating medal in Finance. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
Mr. Prabhu is currently under contract to PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia, where he is the senior Director in the Infrastructure and Project Finance group. In this capacity, he focuses on capital-raising and other advisory services for public and private sector entities. He has been a featured speaker at the “Emerging Trends in Real Estate” and “Raising Company Value” conferences in Moscow, as well as the keynote speaker at the 2007 Russia-Canada Business Council meeting in Ottawa, Canada.
In his earlier career, Mr. Prabhu has been a senior investment banker and project financier with the JPMorgan Chase and BankAmerica organizations, with regional responsibility for Asia-Pacific. He also practiced as a public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, and worked in the public sector at Investment Canada, an agency of the Canadian government charged with attracting foreign direct investment. Mr. Prabhu is a co-founder of Interstice Consulting and serves as a senior advisor to the firm.
- Mr Demetrius A. Floudas
Mr. Floudas holds an LL.B. (magna cum laude) from the University of Athens as well as an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge. He was awarded an Onassis Foundation Scholarship in 1992 and is also a Member of the British Academy of Experts and of the Athens Bar.
Mr Floudas is currently advising the Russian Government on the Approximation of Competition Rules. He served previously as Team Leader of the Project for the Accession of Russia to the World Trade Organisation. He has lectured in numerous Universities and Institutes in Moscow and the provinces; interviews with him on Russian affairs have been published in ‘Russia Profile’, the Moscow Times and other media. He has contributed a chapter to the book ‘Russia & the WTO’ (forthcoming).
Mr Floudas is a Vice President and Head of the European Consultancy Division at Interstice Consulting. Mr. Floudas also serves as the lead representative of IK Rokas & Partners in Russia and as a senior partner in the Athens-based law firm Floudas Tsilimidos Mavromichalis. He is an expert on the European Union and its policies and processes for integration and expansion. Mr. Floudas has completed a broad scope of international consulting assignments in the private and public sectors, including projects in Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and Asia-Pacific. He is a recognised specialist in e-commerce regulation and the application of new technologies, with particular emphasis in international domain name acquisition, registration and protection, where he continues to advise and represent some of the most widely-known e-commerce names. In 1997 the European Commission named him a Jean Monnet module leader.
Mr Floudas also engages in teaching and research at Hughes Hall College, University of Cambridge and the intensive programmes of the Academie de Paris. He has been elected Fellow of the Hellenic Institute of International & Foreign Law and Visiting Fellow of the Centre for International Economic Research, Anglia Business School. He previously held the position of Lecturer in European & Comparative Law at the Anglia Law School (UK) and was an Aristoteles Visiting Fellow at Universite de Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne).
