President’s Picnic and Barbeque (CURS GARDEN PARTY!!!)

May Week is a time of incredible festivities in Cambridge, which is why we at CURS have decided to organise something awesome towards the end of the Ball season. You may have accidentally heard that we were plotting a garden party. Well, our president and his dedicated committee have decided to throw a special celebratory feast to mark the end of another year of studies.

So what awaits you?

First of all a BBQ, with a variety of meat. In particular we will be serving specially prepared shashlik. There will also be an assortment of other traditional party foods. So nobody should leave hungry. If possible, we will also get our hands on some large water-melons, to make it feel like summer.

We decided to bypass the hassle of organising with colleges and will simply hold our great party in the vastness of Jesus green. The BBC have promised us good weather. Thus there will be an opportunity for some fun and games for those with too much energy. Perhaps a friendly game of football to complement EURO 2008?
