Our Forum

As some of you may know, we have a forum on our web site. It is located at: http://www.russiancambridge.org/forum.

We have had a link to this forum on our main menu, but it was now removed in light of the recent changes to the site and, most importantly, the new functionality we are about to add. We appreciate your patience as we work out the best way to substitute the forum.

We are thinking hard about how to implement the social interaction on our web site in a way which you will like and appreciate and we hope to announce further changes very soon.

The old forum will continue to function and will remain at the same address. We have simply removed the link, nothing more :)

Vkontakte.ru integration

Dear Friends,

We know that many of you would like to see our site getting integrated with vkontakte.ru . We would like to let you know that we are now looking at such option. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver some of their services due to certain policies of vkontakte.ru that we regard as inappropriate (including the need to pay to enable the comments integration).

This, however, does not mean that certain features will not be implemented. We will work hard to deliver as much as we can and we are always willing to hear your suggestions, including the requests to integrate the web site with other social networks.

Web Site 2.0 BETA

Dear Friends,

As you may see, we are now making some major improvements to our web site. You are now able to track our Tweets as well as comment on our posts!

To be able to comment, please click on the post to open it in the comment-enabled mode.

Ice Skating – Thursday, December 9

Get your skates on and join CU Russian Society this Thursday in what is probably the most Russian activity!

We will meet at 8.30 pm at Ice Cafe (you can get in without a ticket). Our one-hour session will start at 9pm. Skates are provided and included into the price of the ticket but if you have yours bring them along!

IMPORTANT: we are very likely to get a group discount but it will really depend on how many we are on the day! In any case it won’t cost you more than £7.50. Bring your friends and don’t miss a chance to do *ручеек* on the ice!
