Cambridge wins in a Что? Где? Когда? UK tournament

Congratulations to the Cambridge “What?Where?When?” (Что? Где? Когда?) team for their victory in a UK Student Championship! Last Sunday 13 March Cantabrigians beat 29 other student teams from other UK universities.

CURS continues to organise local Что? Где? Когда? quiz games (somewhat close in principle to “University Challenge”) in Cambridge. There is enough space for much more than one team, so join us for a fun play this Saturday 19 March at 6pm (not 4pm as previously announced)! Venue: Old Music Room, St. John’s College.

* We are looking for a presenter for this Saturday’s game – a very easy and fun task to be highly appraised and remunerated by delicious treats. The job is to read out questions in Russian for participating teams and keep timing for responses for about 2 hours.
