CURS AGM and Elections

The time is approaching for us to hold the CURS AGM (annual general meeting). During this meeting we will hold elections of the new committee to take charge of CURS, commencing with Lent Term.

CONCERT: A WORLD PREMIERE BY THE CREDO QUARTET

The four brilliant and youthful talents of the internationally renowned Credo Quartet will be giving a premiere tour in England (London-Cambridge-Oxford).

- Awarded by Gold Medal at the Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition in Easton (USA, 2008) and many other prestigious prizes
- The very best Piano Quartet in Russia.

Richard Strauss — Quartet c minor op. 13
Frank Bridge — Fantasy Quartet
Pavel Karmanov — Christmas Music for Piano Quartet *World Premier*
Chris Willis — Aero Theatre *World Premier*

Christopher Willis is one of the most famous young British composers, currently making film-music in Hollywood. The title is taken from a well-known Los Angeles cinema opened in the 1940s called ‘Aero Theatre,’ leading the listener into the adventurous world of Early American Cinematography.

Russian composer Pavel Karmanov in his turn, is the most well-known Russian composer today; he  resents a new Christmas composition that is dedicated to the 800th Anniversary of the University of  Cambridge.
